Terrible shame, I used to play in the same team as him and his twin Patrick at youth level . They were two years younger but were that good they played in our team. Really nice lads and their dad was a good bloke as well. Rip eamon.

Really sad this, I remember Eamon bursting on to the scene all those years ago, was going to be the latest prodigy for West Ham. Taken far too young, RIP

RIP Eamonn, another Hammer taken too soon.
Was behind the North Bank goal when he scored his brace v Sunderland and was visible on the end of season video next to the right hand post due to wearing an appalling white jumper.

Sad news indeed. RIP knowing you achieved a dream however short lived it was.
He overcame cancer as a youngster, much in the same way as Mooro did, but it often returns.
I was yet another at that Sunderland game and seeing his joy at scoring. That said, there were a small number also giving him abuse that day calling him "Eamon Doughnut" but he just smiled on, got his goals and those same fans then changed their tune. :-)
Slater, Dolan... it was a different game back then for sure before the Sky money came.

He was very good to me.
I went over there at 19 for a trial pre season, I was put up with a host family but there was an issue on the day I got there. So Pat put me up in a hotel out of his own money.
I ended up getting injured in a game against Wicklow so didn't sign. He invited me back when I got fit but even though I did ok I knew I wasn't good enough or dedicated enough so never went back.
I remember how huge he was but also what a nice bloke. Could tell he could lose it and his number 2 was phsycopath with a moustache. No fucking about with them 2.

charoo...
when we were younger, Eamonn was the more sensible twin and Patrick could be a complete loon at times, in a good/nice way. both were great lads and mates.
I like to think he stayed that way. hope you can confirm.
